If you haven’t heard of Funk N’ Waffles, it’s understandable – the restaurant only opened a few years ago and is hidden beneath Chuck’s bar in the alleyway known as Campus Plaza off of S. Crouse Ave. However, one trip to this hip café and I know you’ll be back, not only for the waffles but the entertainment as well!

This recipe is a family favorite. My daughter can't get enough of it. I understand you're thinking taco soup, huh?! But trust me, you'll love it!! I recommend putting it in your slow-cooker while you go out and go sledding or ice skating..... it's a perfect "warm you up" dish. I have varied the recipe depending on who I am serving it to. My mom, prefers a mild spicy taste. My daughter, medium-mild, my brother- the hotter the better, and me- well, medium hot-ish.

Ingredients:
15. 5 ounce can of dark red kidney beans
15.5 ounce can of pink kidney beans
15.5 ounce can of corn

Having driven by Mama Nancy's along 690 West thousands of times I never once considered stopping in. What I discovered was that I was a fool for many, many years. On a recent Sunday morning, my family and I felt stuck with no place to go in the middle of the breakfast high noon hour.
When we got inside there was a 15 minute wait. The staff was bustling and everything was spotless. The food was dead-on. Fantastic pancakes, freshly prepared bacon and sausage, and eggs cooked to perfection. The price fell in line with most Syracuse eateries.

Delicious food, good prices and large portions at the Clam Bar! If you are looking for a great place to eat seafood in Syracuse, head over to the Clam Bar. The Clam Bar is locatd at 3914 Bewerton Rd. (also known as Highway 11) just before it turns into Plank Road in Mattydale in North Syracuse, not too far away from I-81, one of the main places to get around. It is close to West Taft Road, and partially hidden behind a loud chain Mexican restaurant. If you aren't looking for it, you might miss it. It is a rather small place, and looks a bit like a dive, but inside it is clean and warm.

Nobody can say it – everybody loves it. Skan-ee-AT-las is the name… “Long Lake” in the local Iroquoian tongue. It’s just the right size for strolling from shop to shop to shop, and the lake itself makes a wonderful backdrop for the 19th-century shopping district.

Proving that they do indeed have nine lives, Bruno Schirripa (the aforementioned 'panther'; more on that in a minute) has returned to reopen Wise Guys, a comedy club, a restaurant, and an entertainment showroom all under one roof.
