If you are looking for a chance to network with other professionals of all ages through social events, you are invited to join CNY After Five.

Formed out of the ashes of Syracuse Young Professionals (also known as SYP), this group targets all adults 21 and up who are looking for a way to connect with others outside of the bar scene.

Founder and It's All Here Street Team Member Dan Olivadoti says "We're a group for people looking for something a little more upscale and mature than your everyday happy hour-type group. Our organization focuses on promoting local business, the local arts scene and the like. We're a great way to get to find out what's going on in the greater Central New York area".

Open since September 2007, the group has approximately 200 active members at any given time. Group membership encompasses the area between Syracuse and Utica.

The organization hosts exclusive programming, including M3 (their mid-week, mid-month mixer), ARTASTIC! (arts and cultural events), CAFFEINE CREW (regular coffee house get-togethers) and GIVEBACK (volunteer events that are scheduled quarterly).

CNY After Five encourages members to bring business cards and promote their company or service at its events. A table is usually set up for this purpose. Opportunities are available for businesses to host or sponsor events at no cost, offering a no-risk way for people to showcase their companies.
