MetLife is a wonderful company to work for, I think one of the most underappreciated actually, and provides you with a career instead of a job. Naysayers beware! There are jobs available and good ones at that. Much like yourself I heard of careers in the financial world before. I also immediately dismissed them.
"No, no, I know all about that industry and I'm not asking my friends and family to buy stuff from me," I'd say.
Dreissig Athletic (http://www.dreissigathletic.com) sponsored two high school football combines this summer at 481 Sports Center in East Syracuse, NY. These were run by former SU running back Robert Drummond. We also sponsored two high school football camps in Houston, TX. Over 130 student-athletes took their game to the next level as they had the opportunity to learn from former pros and current elite college and high school coaches.
I have been working at Sensis for the past two years and it has been a wonderful learning experience. The numerous brilliant engineers that work at Sensis not only serve as a source of information, but provide career mentoring. Instead of the competition you may find between co-workers at some companies, at Sensis you discover a team effort that really makes you feel like part of a community.

"I think it's going to be a very good year," said Linda McGraw, director of the Office of Career Services at Le Moyne.

The future of Syracuse is now on display at the Everson Museum of Art. In a small rectangular room, on the ground floor of the Everson, four competing design proposals for the Connective Corridor initiative are on view.
I recently started a position within Clear Channel Radio, and immediately realized the great growth potential while working in a very friendly work environment. As someone who always thought “there are no good jobs in Syracuseâ€, I felt obligated to share my success with everyone and offer others the same opportunity.

Regional Financial Associates developed a metropolitan area cost of doing business index based upon the major costs that vary by area and affect most businesses: Labor, Energy, Tax burdens and Office rents. These four indices are then combined to determine the Cost of Doing Business Index. The top 100 metropolitan areas in America were evaluated. In most cases, data is from 1990-1994.
